I went ALL OUT on my first time trying this truck. I was there right when they opened at 11am. I bought the Connecticut and bowl... of Lobster Bisque with a Whoopi Pie and I wanted a Maine Root Beer but had to settle for a Lemonade instead because they were"Out". It tasted HORRIBLE! Artificial lemon juice with very little sweetness and very BITTER. My sandwich was supposed to comewith the lobster meat and melted butter... DRY/NO BUTTER! I had to melt my own and add to it. It was not worth the$35 I paid intotal. The bisque was ok, I've had better for much less than $11. Read more
Have been a loyal fan of Cousin's since they came to Houston. High priced but good lobster and I loved it. I was an... app-purchasing-fiend every time they were close to me which gave me lots of lobster points to spend. Until I spent them...andreceived nothing. Drove way out one day in the rain to get rolls and soup and spent points for my two soups. Only the rollswere in my bag. Long story short, they offered me a refund that I never got, and never got my points back either. Contacted mybank and they denied the claim. So....I'll be buying my own Maine lobster online, delivered to my door, for me to make freshinstead. Thanks for nothing. Read more
Honestly, this place deserves one star, it just brings hype only by its name and the tv shows its been on. I went to one of... there food trucks by the galleria and paid $18.00 for a lobster roll, the sandwich had plenty of meat on it, just no flavor atall. The bread was good but not hot just somewhat warm. Plus a small pieces of shell was found, luckily I didnt break a tooth.First and Last time I eat from here. Delicious lobster worth every penny! I?ve had Cousins at least a dozen times throughout the years and am always satisfied with... both the taste and the value. I?d rather pay a couple extra bucks for fresh lobster since it?s not a treat I have often. Tonightwe indulged in Connecticut rolls, grilled cheese and the lobster tots and quesadillas.
