I was reading the reviews so I wanted to make a review... so the PROS: Jasmine was our server she was great... 3 of our meals... was good and HOT... CONS chicken and waffles the chicken wasn't completely done and JUMBO wings . Also not everybody like allthat topping on their waffle it makes it soggy.... the events section area has an odor also it looks dirty... over all thisplace I would visit again when I visit Houston.... Customer service was not a high priority The staff was not attentive, forgot we were there , the table wasn't clean from... previous customer's. Not greeted upon arrival. The waitress came to our table a total of 4 times Once to give us the menus Another time to get our... drink order Next to bring our drinks and take our food order, and finally to give us the check without checking to see if weneeded anything else (more drinks, any condiment for our food...). There were a total of 3 tables with customers including uswhen we visited Sunday night at 8 PM, so there should be absolutely no reason for my sister and I to eat our catfish and frieswithout any ketchup or tartar sauce. Ugh, this deserves a 2, but the hospitality and the server was so good. The DJ was also good! She didn’t blast us with rap at... first, she laid the R&B on thick for us! I’m going to make an assumption that they weren’t prepared for the crowd theygot. Cons: -We didn’t find out that they were out of things until they came to bring other friends their food. You shouldknow what’s on your menu ahead of taking orders. -The stuffed French toast was just French toast sticks with fruit sauce onthe side. -Plates we served without all the sides. -Friend ordered steak, but 6 of the 7 people had their dishes already beforethey came out and told her that and asked for another dish option. We were here at that point for an hour and ahalf. Pros: -Free hookah til 3PM & the hookah gentleman made sure he changed your coals / your hookah was hitting. He clearlyexplained that the free hookah stops at 3PM. -Our server was professional and helpful -The vibe was really good. I danced andate, and didn’t feel shamed for it or have folks cutting their eyes. -Free parking! -First come, first served. -No strictdress code. This mattered because all of my clothes are packed up for a move and my bestie came out of town last minute to helpme in the house, so brunch was a last minute invite and we were dressed down (think t-shirt and shorts).
