Very good! Came with a friend for Saturday breakfast. I hadn't been here in years. I had the chorizo omelette with hash browns... and my friend had the salmon toast. Both very good! The decor and ambience of the restaurant are on point. The Decour is very trendy while still being classically beautiful. The... staff was very friendly. However, the brunch menu is pretty limited. That’s not an issue if the limited menu is done toperfection. However when you have a limited menu and the food is just OK that’s where the ball is dropped. We ordered achildren’s waffles and berries breakfast, a mushroom omelette, and chicken and waffles. We also ordered a couple signaturecocktails. The children’s waffles were overdone and borderline hard. The waffles in the chicken and waffles were the sametype of overdone. The chicken was mildly overdone and lacked adequate seasoning. The omelette was incredibly bland. We hadasked multiple times for milk for our kid. Overall, I don’t think I’ll be coming back. Although the restaurant is beautifulthe food is not compelling. Recently are here for Houston Restaurant Weeks. Customer service was amazing. The bartender allowed me to taste test two... different wines to determine which I wanted to order. I absolutely loved my food selections. Everything was flavorful anddelicious. I love when a restaurant understands what a “medium” cooked steak means.
