I've been here many times. I enjoy the ambiance and the food. Today I had the hearth roasted oysters, and fried quail. While... both were pretty good, I felt salt would have saved the day. Everything was a bit underseasoned today. The sidecar wasnoteworthy. Read more
Eunice is the type of place you plan your Houston vacation FOR! You pick the days you want to have brunch, lunch, AND dinner... here and then plan everything else. We were taken care of by the bartenders because of where we decided to sit, and what agreat choice that ended up being. Taylor and Assad gave us great recommendations when asked and impeccable service. If you arethere when Assad is working, make sure you ask for the Wake Me Up and Eff Me Up espresso drink. The lemon addition issurprisingly delicious! We were fortunate to be able to chat with the manager Ishmael and let him know firsthand how greateverything was. He was so gracious and kind. We had the Etoufee, shrimp and grits, chicken liver mousse, fire roastedbroccolini, cast iron cornbread, gumbo, and bread pudding. Can't wait to come again. Read more
We arrived for brunch about 5 minutes before they actually opened and the general manager let us in. Super accommodating and... welcoming. Jasmine was our waitress and she was fantastic. Honestly the best wait staff I’ve ever encountered. The food wasamazing and delicious. The drinks were smooth and strong. Everything was wonderful. We shared half dozen prestige oysters,Tabasco honey quail (fried bandera quail), the heath roasted roasters (with blue crab, shrimp, and breadcrumbs), and the softshell crab cake on Texas toast. Drinks included puro pasion (spicy), Bramble, bees knees, and the sidecar. Sidecar is apparentlysignature and most popular drink. All freaking fantastic. Dessert: bread pudding (most popular and it was amazing) and thecheesecake (which was my favorite). Parking in the garage was validated and free. They also have valet parking for free as well.
