Menu for General Joe's Chopstix in Houston, TX

This is definitely a place to grab a tasty bite. The menu had a good variety and it?s bit that long of a wait to get your food.... You can tell its made to order since it?s not ?fast food?. I remember being a kid coming here and till this day the food isstill great. Lol reading some of the terrible reviews surprises me! The food was good. But they have VERY small portion sizes. I was finished eating after 5 bites, and I paid $13 and was still... hungry after eating. The meal was good tho. They also gave me hard crab ragoons twice. I had to ask them to remake them. Sodisappointed that I gave this place a try. Read more

I'm not sure what happened. I've been to a different location where the food was delicious. Not so at this one. I got general... tso's chicken and the chicken tasted old and the sauce a little musty. The rice was overcooked and crunchy at parts. Superdisappointed, wish I could get my money back. Won't be returning. Read more

My husband and I have been eating here for 10 years. It used to be the only Chinese food resturant we would eat at. The food... and prices were great. Lately the food has not been good at all. It is defiantly different than it used to be. The prices arestill good but the food, not so much. The past 5 visits have gotten worse and worse. I'm sad to say that we probably won't goback again.
