I have traveled around the world and I have to say that this was by far the absolute best restaurant experience of my life. We... were greeted and seated immediately. Tia was knowledgeable and courteous but didn’t make us feel like we were at a snootyrestaurant. Corbin and I became fast friends before we left. And I can’t say enough about Lindsay. My gracious, you guys knowhow to pick the best for your business. The chef (Tim?) even came out to thank us for our compliments. If you want a deliciousmeal while being treated like family, you should definitely try GJ Tavern. In my opinion it’s the star of downtown Houston. Iwill come back every time I’m in town. Bravo guys. I'd really recommend this restaurant, I know that people dont like reading alot so I set all of my options in three... categories. (Decor) Starting with the decor, the restaurant is a bit small, but they are able to make it fit is such aprofessional way. If you chose to dine outside, you are able to get a good view of the city. Also, the tables are set in such anelegant way with the utensils on a napkin on top of a plate next to a glass on a mat layed on a black marble table. (Service) Ihave got to say, the employees here didn't just get hired a week ago, the uniforms are professional for the employees. Ourserver, Eddie, knows what he is doing and was able to advertise with such a high vocabulary in such a kind way. I'd reallyrecommend giving Eddie a raise. (Food) The food was amazing and when a food needs sauce, they put in the perfect amount. Ireally really the sandwiches, cheese burger, and the flat bread. We only took 30-40 minutes.
