My husband and I came here for our 9 year anniversary and was really looking forward to having a mouth pleasing adventure. The... ambiance and attentiveness of the wait staff was superb. They were personable, helpful and friendly. The food, on the otherhand, was extremely disappointing. At one point, the sushi chef shared he didn?t really like sushi. My husband and I both lookedat each other and was speechless. How can one not have a passion for sushi yet become one? His lack of knowledge and dedicationto the craft was apparent in the food. Spectacular execution. Great service. Unique experience. If you think you are a foodie and have not been here then you are... missing something. Fish is perfect and sauces are out of this world. Stretching the limits of omakase this hip and inventive restaurant is a great experience. Chef Nikki and her team make highly... inventive and well balanced bites of heaven. The setting, hip music and service allows you to come dressy or casual and bringyour own wine or sake. A big plus. All in all this dinner beat the current top sushi restaurants in houston candidly withoutbreaking a sweat. Cost for dinner is a bare minimum of $250 per person but if you add service and order a few extra bites andbring your wine it can add up to more. Read more

Came to this restaurant for two date nights. The atmosphere, ambiance, music, and staff were great! The chefs are passionate... about their craft and the dishes have tons of flavor. The chefs were engaged with the customers and answered any questions wehad about the food. Their Omakase menu is very stuffing and you?ll barely have any room for dessert. It is BYOB. I do suggestyou arrive on time and try not to be late for your reservation. It?s on the pricey side but definitely worth it. We?ll be backhere soon! Read more
