I admit it. We eat here. This place and the now deceased Sweet Tomatoes (may she rest in peace and rise again) were our favorite... after church places to eat. The good is good. The waitstaff is effificient and their sushi isn't too pedestrian. Plus they haveice cream. There is something for everyone. Read more

So a lot of the buffet dishes were not labeled. Not most, but about 30%. Especially the fish dishes. You need to know what... you're eating. You know? The food that was labeled or that I knew what it was already, was pretty good. Not great. Good. Gotthere about 11:15 a.m. on a weekday lunch hour. I enjoyed the mushrooms, barbecue chicken skewers, rangoon, sauteed green beansand orange chicken. The tiny sushi bar was cramped, cluttered and didn't have much of a selection.. Was it worth the $14 for aweekday lunch hour? Maybe every once in awhile if I'm close and really craving Chinese food. These comments are my opinionbased on my own experience. We were looking for an Asian buffet for lunch and we ended up choosing Hunan chef. We waited a bit before being seated and once... we found a table, we headed towards the buffet spread. They have a wide variety of items, in chicken itself they offer: Orangechicken, Kung Pao chicken, Jalapeno chicken, Sesame chicken, teriyaki chicken, and chicken on a stick. We absolutely loved theJalapeno Chicken and sesame chicken. They also have pork ribs (they were only okay) and steak options. Apart from that, theyserve baked salmon, fried fish, fried crab wontons, oysters, mussels etc. They serve white rice, steamed corn, steamed porkdumplings and fried pork dumplings. The stuffing in the dumplings is good the exterior however had become a bit chewy. I mustalso mention that their chilli oil is delicious. Along with all of what I mentioned earlier, they also serve different sauces, fresh fruit, a selection of soups, fried potato wedges, french fries, corn patties, fried biscuits, fried chicken, and a fewmore items. They have a sushi bar too. In the dessert section, they offer chocolate cake, jelly, custard, a delicious coconutsweet, and fried dough coated with cinnamon sugar. They also offer soft serves in a small cone in the vanilla, chocolate, andChoco vanilla flavor. It is definitely a wonderful item to top off the buffet with. Although they have a comparatively limitedspread, this is a place where you can expect an affordable meal that mostly tasty and is of good quality. The staff is politeand helpful. We enjoyed our time here but, we do feel some improvements need to be made. 4 stars because we liked about 60-70%items on their menu. Among other things, the dumplings were disappointing and the egg rolls/vegetable rolls didn't seem to befresh, and we also felt that they need to add more items to their dessert section. Read more

Maybe I didn't try the right dishes. Hunan Chinese food is typically spicy. That's not the case here. The food on the buffet is... fresh and hot. Senior discounts are not offered at this restaurant. Read more
