I came to have a casual dinner last night and it was outstanding. I've never had Persian food before, but I'm glad my first... experience with it was at Kasra. I ordered the hummus as an appetizer and had the kubideh skewers with white rice as theentrée. The hummus was smooth and delicious. The kebideh was cooked to perfection and was tender and delicious. Everythingtasted very fresh and wasn't over-seasoned. Maybe that's a characteristic of Persian food in general, but either way, I lovedit. The portion sizes were generous and the service was outstanding. Our waitress was very nice and patient with us as we hadlittle idea of what to order. A must visit restaurant for the best Persian food in Houston. The value for money is also amazing. On arrival we were given... freshly made bread with a salad.
