This place is such a find. Close to the office and every time we come here I get something new. Also they have hand made corn... tortillas.... one of my favorites. The place can be quiet at times, and the tea is not that good. The location is a little odd, however I have never had a bad meal here. Their breakfast tacos are excellent. Read more

I was looking for authentic Mexican food and flavors in my neighborhood. This missed the mark. I had the mini street tacos and... the shredded beef enchiladas. The beef was not seasoned well and the texture left much to be desired. The al pastor mini tacoswere good, but they only had grilled onions on them and no cilantro. The enchiladas were bland. The rice was bland and therefried beans were bland. I expected more. Two stars because the restaurant is very clean and the staff is friendly. Read more

My first time here and the nachos (chicken) were amazing. It could?ve had more meat - but I?m willing to pay for extra meat on... my next visit. The green sauce is awesome - the flavor and taste. I?ll most definitely be back. Read more

Coming from California, home of the best Mexican food lol, this wasn?t the best chilaquiles I?ve ever had, but it was SO... tasty!!! I?ve been living in Central Texas for almost 2 years now, and the Mexican food is horrible!!!! This place was such abreath of fresh air, and I also ordered the pastor tacos with the homemade corn tortillas. Just like home ???? and I couldn?t bemore happy!! One thing I miss the most about Cali is the tacos lol, and La Salsita really hit the spot for me! Should?ve known Ihad to come to H Town for that lol. Also the ladies who serviced me were VERY sweet and attended to me immediately upon walkingup to the counter. My food took between 10/15min to wait and they were already a little busy. I will most definitely be back!!!! Read more

Update:: after the below visit decided to try again. Called in my order , per the menu, verified with the lady taking my order... what all came with it and of course I get home and didn't get what's on the menu/what I ordered. This place sucks.Avoid...better mexican breakfast all over Houston. Only restaurant I know that lists and has pics of things on the menu and 2xin a row they bring out something else. Love mexican breakfast and always looking for new places so I tried here. Service isslow. Nice girl, but slow. I ordered the pancake plate off the breakfast menu which has a pic and states it comes with beans, potatoes and tortillas..it did not. Only eggs and bacon. When I asked for it I was told it'll be 1.99 per side.(after someconversation they ended up not charging me for the sides) I ordered queso since I wasn't brought any chips and salsa and shebrought it with my food about 20 min later. Chips hard and cold, coffee cold, everything else sub par. Probably won't be back.Disappointing, had high hopes after reading the reviews. Read more
