Great open for a halal food option. Food was great. I ordered the 8 piece bucket, two sides, and rolls. I?ve eaten plenty of... fried chicken and these guys knock the sh*t out of KFC. Rolls could have been better and the fries could have also. Read more
So good! The dirty rice and shrimp fried rice are delicious, our poboys have been top notch and the lemon cake...oh my... goodness-food of heaven! It's not sickly sweet like most lemon cakes, just understated wonderful lemon with the creamiest icingever. We're new to the area and have already been here twice. My husband's family is from LA and they have always madetraditional Cajun foods. This place seems pretty authentic so far. Next up- gumbo and jambalaya! Read more
I stopped for something fast but it took like 15 minutes for them to make some chicken strips and a coke they could have given... me the coke while I waited and I was anxious because I am currently working when I ordered so I didn't anticipate in taking thatmuch time and started worrying about getting in trouble. Not a place to go if you're in a hurry. The lady was nice they calledme sir but the signage needs to be replaced it's all faded and it makes you wonder how clean it is inside and if they'refollowing safe precautions to keep food safe. My husband and I love the shrimp fried rice. The portion is generous, the rice perfectly cooked and there is always a lot of... shrimp. The chicken pieces have the right amount of breading, a bit spicy for me but hubby likes them. You get a lot of food fora reasonable price. The restaurant building needs a lot of work, inside and out. Grounds are overgrown, outdoor signs arefalling down and off and the interior is really shabby. Read more
