We go here every Sunday and always have great service, the food is fresh and the staff are nice. You never know if it?s going to... be busy, it?s hit or miss. However, we did a mobile order for pickup for the first time and it was AWFUL. It took 30 minutes toget our food (cup of soup and 2 simple sandwiches with meat & cheese, no additional toppings) and the only reason we got it isbecause we asked the man who appeared to be in charge. 2 other team members already knew that we were waiting for the pickup andsaid it?ll take ?a couple minutes.? We watched 10+ people go through the line inside, not to mention the people going throughdrive thru. All that to say ? if it?s a busy time, the quickest way to get your order is by waiting in line inside (unless therearen?t many cars in the drive thru). If you?re in a hurry, do NOT place a pickup order or you will be the last to get yourorder. Read more

Just got a terrible order delivered this evening by UberEats. My chicken salad sandwich was burnt, hard as a rock and dry, had... very little chicken salad in it do it was like chomping down on dry burnt toast. Didn't add cheese as requested and overallterrible sandwich. Read more

I am a newer customer to the Potbelly chain. The food is usually good and I previously haven?t experienced any issues with the... staff. In fact, when I came in today with my sister I had been craving the sandwiches. Ordering, payment, and finding a tablewent smoothly. We ate and discussed vacation plans for the near future. We sat in silence on our phones for a minute or two tolook up information about our trip when I noticed a worker hovering around our table. I was also made uneasy when I realized theworker had been watching us. Suddenly he said ?Get off of your phones and talk to each other? in a stern voice. I wasimmediately taken aback. I was used to employees walking around the floor and asking customers how their food was or if therewere any issues, but it seemed this worker never intended to say any of those things. When I responded with ?we are planning atrip,? he immediately tried to play it off by saying he ?was joking?. Even if he meant it as a light hearted joke, it created animmensely uncomfortable atmosphere for my sister and I. Soon he walked away mumbling, a little offended by the interaction. Mysister and I felt awkward doing anything now in the vicinity of this worker. There was no apology, question about the food, howwe were doing, and the worker certainly did not come off as friendly. Our food was good as always, but we will avoid visitingthis location in the future especially to dine-in. We were not causing a disturbance and yet we were still reprimanded for usingour phones at a fast-food restaurant of all places! Approaching customers with a hostile attitude like that does not create awelcoming and friendly atmosphere for your patrons. Read more

I am a frequent customer of Potbelly restaurants, having gone to many locations throughout Texas. I enjoy the sandwiches, the... atmosphere and aesthetic. However today the atmosphere was ruined. My sister and I were casually enjoying our food, discussingplans for an upcoming trip with friends. We paused talking for a few minutes to look up information on our phones. I realized aworker had been hovering around us once he bid a polite farewell to a group of teenagers that were leaving. I expected the usual"How is the food, is everything okay?" that is normally asked by floating employees when I dine-in at fast food establishments, however with this man in particular, that was not the case. He loudly demanded "Get off your phones and talk to each other!", acommon sentiment among the older generations. Until that point my sister and I had been enjoying our day, having planned othersisterly bonding activities once we finished our meal; but the minute that snarky remark was made, my day and mood was ruined. My experience with Potbelly workers has always been positive. Never before have I experienced such rudeness, not even a "how isthe food? hope you ladies are doing well". All I could do was stare at him in shock, unaware of how else to respond. My sisterinformed him we were planning a trip on our phones to which he claimed he "was just joking", a common deflection among the oldergenerations. Immediately my sister and I were made severely uncomfortable, not wanting to speak now that we were made aware ourbehavior and conversation was being actively montiored. I wish I had asked for his name, but I did not want to cause a scene. The atmosphere of the restaurant has forever been soured in my mind. As long as that worker remains at this location, I will nolonger visit this specific Potbelly establishment. This is especially unfortunate now that the Which Wich on Gosling has closeddown, so Potbelly was our natural next choice of sandwich eatery. I am severely disapp Read more

I usually have a great experience but this time was not so great. My wife's sandwich was initially made with too much Mustard... and had to be made over and then my sandwich was half wrapped and sticking out of the wrapper! When I brought to the cashier'sattention, she shrugged her shoulders and said, "what you want me to do? It's in the bag!" She's young. I just told her Ididn't want it and that's how I ended up with Salata, which is what I initially preferred anyway! Read more
