This place is in downtown Houston, so if you want to eat here, make sure to come during non-peak hours. Or, prepare to... wait. You purchase your food first at the register, with a choice to buy more noodles during your visit. Make sure to know whatyou want before you go in. We ordered The OG and the Tsukemen along with a Korokkaaayyy (croquette). The OG (tonkatsu) had adeep full-flavored broth that coated the noodles well. I thought it was pretty good. 4 out of 5 stars. The Tsukemen was a drynoodle with a thick gravy broth. You dip the noodles into the thick broth to coat and then eat. It was a little sour for mytaste, but the hub's thought it tasted fine, so it's all about preference. 3 out of 5 stars You do have a choice to make eitherspicy, but since it was our first time, we wanted to try the broths by itself. The croquette, on the otherhand, was ok. Alittle dry for me, even with the sauce. 2 out of 5 stars. Service could have been better. We put our orders in but the persondoing the ordering did not ring up my dish. We waited at least 15 minutes before I waved someone to ask about my order. I dogive them points for trying to rectify the problem by giving the dish to me at no cost. Unfortunately, they sat us in thecorner and was pretty much ignored most of the time. At the end of our meal, we were waiting for the check to pay for the extranoodles we had ordered. Again, we had to wave someone to ask for the check just to be told that they had given the noodles to usat no cost. Although I am grateful that we were given a meal and noodles for free, I feel that these mistakes could have beenprevented. Giving away food due to mistakes can be costly to the restaurant in the long run. My advice is to hire employees whoare willing to deal with your customers. Read more

I am consider between 4 and 5…give this 4 this time. This place is cozy and clean even though it’s pretty hard to find. The... reason why I hesitate about 5 is the Tonkotsu broth is a bit salty and the soup for another ramen is too greasy. The ramen soupis salty as well. Maybe my taste is a little bit light. But overall I enjoyed my visit, my kids love the fortune cat in front. Read more

This restaurant looks very clean, trendy and has a great vibe. I ordered the miso hot ramen and also the pork gyoza. I'm going... to be really honest... even tho the restraunt was super cool and very good service I did not really enjoy the ramen. After awhile the broth had become a little more thick then what I'm used to. Also the noodles that they use started to get mooshy. Itdid not taste very good after that. The broth itself when it was at the right consistency was actually really good. The gyozaare pan fried and I did really enjoyed them. Again the service and the vibe was awesome. Maybe I should have tried somethingelse. I recommend trying the place to see if you like it yourself. As for me I may go back or i may not. Its a coin flip for me.My friends love it by the way. Do it may just be me. The price point for the food is pretty fair. The ramen is about $13.00.When I went there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. Read more

Let me preface my review with the positives first. the restaurant is clean, staff is friendly, it’s got a Cool vibe about it... however if you’re looking for an authentic Japanese flavor, keep looking. The flavors can be described as fusion while I wasexpecting the flavors of simple yet rich, flavors of traditional Japanese ramen. Also, The kraage (fried chicken) was verygreasy (see photo) and quite dry on the inside. Restaurant and staff 5/5 stars, food 3/5 stars. Read more
