In short: This coffee shop has a cool history, a great outdoor area, and offer discounts to cyclist, pedestrians, and those in... academics. A little more: It's a renovated old Gulf gas station that was originally built around 1921. The owner said it servedas a gas station until the 70's, at which point it became abandoned. While abandoned, it came to serve as a canvas "mural", butstayed that way until 2014. It sounds like they tried to do the old station justice and spent around 3 years bringing portionsback to life and re-purposing others. It opened in 2017 and is doing great. There's seating outside in the front, the enclosedspace to order from, and ample seating in the back. The back area features a covered portion and they bring out heaters in thecold months. Additionally, they have games in the back like large Janga, connect four, and battle ship that are free to use. The service here is excellent. I've never had to wait long to get my coffee and it's always delicious. The barista Courtney is... especially awesome. One of my favorite drinks is no longer on the menu but she was able to create one that tasted very similarand it was even better than the original! Read more

I would have given 10 stars if I could to the place, been coming here for a long time and NEVER had a bad experience. First of... all their coffee tastes soooooo good and their staff is always friendly and willing to help. I am a student and I come here tostudy because their atmosphere helps me to focus and relax. I totally recommend this place. The coffee is really well thought out without having it be super pretentious. The outdoor... seating is made for studying. There is tons of sound from the street; cars, planes, sirens. There is; however, simulatedwaterfall sounds to add to the cacophony of noise beautifully turning the end result into a soft murmer of background sound. Itsgenius. Turn noise, into static and have a great place to study. I could use without the smell of manure today though. That'swhy its 4 stars. Read more
