This is the worst place I have ever gone to. I read the reviews and held a high expectations to it, but I literally wasted $50... on some inedible food. The shrimp is obviously off, it got a disgusting toothpaste texture. Jelly in spicy sauce and jelly inbrown sugar are both tasteless. I don’t understand how can a Szechuan restaurant in Houston mess up jelly in brown sugar andstill have a 4.1 star review???? chicken in spicy sauce is the only dish that is good. Read more
When we eat here we are treated like family. They always ask how’s the food. Serve a great portion and never disappoint. They... will make anything that is not in the menu as well. First time eating here. I had a craving for spicy dumplings in red chili oil & saw this place off Bellaire in Chinatown. Staff... couldn't speak much English but that didn't matter, they were friendly. Pointed to the spicy dumplings & waited for it to beready. The restaurant is nice & traditional looking inside. Staff (and I) were watching a Chinese film on the televisiondrinking tea because it was slow. Will come back, the dumplings were tasty & the broth they came it was flavorful & spicy! Read more
This place is a hole in the wall. We ordered the Bath chap, Grandma Braised Pork Belly, Cumin Toothpick Lamb and some kind of... non- spicy fish and they were all delicious. My favorite dish was the Grandma Pork Belly, it was so tender and soft that itmelted in your mouth. Super flavorful.
