Food was extremely delicious! We were visiting Houston from Dallas and definitely thinking on coming back to Houston just to... come and eat that?s how good it was! Homemade tortillas were the best part of it in our opinion. 100 recommended! Read more

When you?re in the mood for Mexican food in the Houston area, you don?t need to look very far. Mexican restaurants and TexMex... eateries are everywhere and a very good option I recently discovered is Teotihuacan Mexican Restaurant. Walking into thisrestaurant, you get a friendly vibe immediately. It?s a medium size restaurant with tables/chairs and booths. There is no onewaiting at the door to seat you, at least not when I visited for lunch. You seat yourself and then wait for a member of thestaff to come to your table and take your order. The interior isn?t huge, but it isn?t small either. It can accommodate a largenumber of customers. There is a section in the back that is more private and can be used for more private affairs. The menu atTeotihuacan Mexican Restaurant features appetizers, soups and salads, seafood, and of course, traditional Mexican fare. I wassurprised at the number of seafood options. They have a kids menu, too, and lunch specials. If you cannot decide what you want,you can select a build your own option and create a meal that best suits your tastes. I selected a traditional Mexican mealwhen I was last here, with a side of refried beans and rice. My meal was served in reasonable time and the quality was certainlygood. The staff takes good care of you, too. They check back at the table and made sure my glass of iced tea was refilled asnecessary. Teotihuacan Mexican Restaurant has a few locations around the Houston area. This location, on Bellfort Avenue, isthe only one I have visited. I like what I experienced and I recommend that others give this Mexican restaurant a try. It hasthe necessary ingredients to fulfill your Mexican food needs and keep you coming back for more. Some of the best Mexican food in Houston. Tortillas are homemade and you can eat them without anything?.(bring that I was never... a fan of tortillas, that was impressive). I?ve had just about everything including the Al a cart items. The food has beenconsistently good for all the years I?ve come. Dining in, the waitresses are always kind and prompt. The only issues I?ve everhad are the lady at the counter. I?ve been coming their for at least 11 years and from my very first encounter, she?s beenrude. I even tip well when I?m ordering to-go. I love when the tortilla chips are crisp, clearly fresh, and the two salsa accompaniments are homemade. We didn?t need... appetizers because they kept filling the bowl. Everything was full of flavor. Huge portions and attentive, excellent service. Read more
