Came out with coworkers for a team dinner. Amazing service as always and enjoyed the meat till I hit nirvana state. Course... ended the amazing food with some chocolate mouse cake and coffee. Read more

All Brazilian steakhouse, or churrascarias, are characterized by the salad bar and meat. I can say that Texas de Brazil has a... good offering, but absolutely subpar service. First, the meat reviews: Herb-Marinated Pork Loin - Never brought out Picanha(Top sirloin) - salty, tender, but the garlic version is more flavorful. My piece was a little dry, even with fat on it.4/5 Brazilian Sausage - Skipped, didn't try it but it got a 4/5 from my table. Leg of Lamb - Never brought out Chicken BreastWrapped in Bacon - Great for chicken. Not too dry, bacon was a good touch. 3.5/5 Lamb Chops - Arguably more grainy and with aninteresting lemon kick that differentiates it from the Lamb Picanha. Also more gamey. 4/5 Filet Mignon Wrapped in Bacon -tender, just right with the offset of the salty bacon. 5/5 Parmesan-Crusted Pork Loin - Skipped Garlic Picanha - Tender, lightgarlic, light salt. 5/5 probably the best of the meats here. Spicy Picanha - Not spicy at all. Tender, bit bland. 4/5 Beef Ribs- Never brought out Barbecued Pork Ribs - Skipped Parmesan Drumettes - Never brought out Filet Mignon - Bad gradient of cooking, outside was medium rare, inside was very rare. Filet mignon bacon wrapped was better. 3/5 Flank Steak Bottom Sirloin - Salty, rich, fatty. Second piece was too dry. 3/5 Petite Filet - Never brought out Lamb Picanha - Tender, lamb earthiness, hope to geta fattier portion so that it's not dry. 4/5 Service was truly awful, 2/5. Most of the meats above were never brought to us andI had to specifically request a cut, and then wait 20+ minutes for someone to come around. Sometimes, they'd offer to myneighbor and not us! The buttons don't seem to mean anything. Furthermore, in one and a half hours, my water cup remained emptyfor over an hour. It took two different waiters to finally get one refill. Lastly, the bar messed up a cocktail we ordered verybadly. There are far better Brazilian steakhouses in Houston. Would not recommend. Read more

I’ve been to a couple different Brazilian steak house chains and let’s just get down to the differences. Pros - location... and ample parking is nice in the garage (but free parking is on 2nd and 3rd floor) - the private room in the back is reallypretty. - salad bar is pretty big and most of the selections are good. - with the discount it made the bill a lot smaller. Noway would I pay full price. What needs help - meat selection wasn’t very good. No baby beef. No pork ribs. No shrimp. - allof the pork and chicken we did get was extremely dry. - the picanha cuts were okay. The medium rare is more like rare with agood sear in it. - the time it took to get meat to our table was a bit unacceptable. Sure it was a Sunday but meat should beflowing non stop and no have 10-20 min breaks in between meat servings. - a server with meat should never cross a guests face todeliver food to a plate. They should walk around the guest. - other establishments have better cheese bread and bacon. - waiterwas doing his best but might have been a bit understaffed. My kids had to stop eating for 10-20min cause they were dying ofthirst. I asked to just leave us a pitcher of water but didn’t get it. Something in the food was making them extremelythirsty. Beautiful place and very good food. Buffet salad and they come with the meat while you have the green side up on the table.... Beef, pork, lamb and chicken. Picana is the specialty of the house and comes in different ways of cook. Crew was very nice ingeneral. They have discounts for birthdays, nurses, veterans and others besides the cards with 25% off that you can buy inCostco. About the same price as the rest of this type of restaurant, around 49 each. Great experience. Very recommended. Read more

There is nothing worse than getting a gift card to an establishment and that business experience being something close to... awful. This was first time visiting this chain and we brought the parents along. We had reservations, so seating us took notime. Getting service from our waiter was a different story. It was an early Saturday evening, so I expect it to be busy. What Idon't expect is the waiter to have lengthy conversations with one table and forget everyone else. It took about 25 minutes fordrinks. I asked to taste the house wine before ordering and clearly that is frowned upon. The waiter decided he would tell mewhat kind of wine it was and I stopped him. I do collect wine and I've never had a restaurant not allow me to taste before Iorder a glass or bottle. We completed one plate of food before the sides arrived. We had to wait for water. We mistakenlyordered dessert. I truly thought it would arrive sometime in 2023. The food is good. The service sucks, and it's service thatmatters most. Read more
