This is the 4th time going here but only bought food 2 times. The first 2 times, they were out of nearly all the food items on... the menu. Went today was there a total of 40 minutes, "waiting" to place an order, then placing the actual order, and thenwaiting on the order. I will say this: the owner is absolutely wonderful and pleasant. Today, I ordered the 4pc wing (1stpicture) and fries for $7.99. I was extremely dissatisfied in the "false advertisement". IT IS NOT 4 wings it is actual 2 wingstotal. They cut the drum part off in an attempt to call it 4 wings. It's most definitely not worth almost 8 dollars. Iunderstand prices have went up for wings but to deceive your customer and say it's 4 is not right. Just say it's 2 pieces andgive the customer an option if they want to purchase. They chicken is cooked fresh and seasoned but the wings are mostdefinitely not worth the cost. The other time I went, I purchased the legs and breast plate because they were out of wings. Asyou can see in 2nd picture we'll worth the cost as you get plenty of chicken 4 pieces. I didn't like the cabbage or Mac, theyboth had sugar in it, which tasted horrible. If I visit the establishment again I will stick to only ordering the 5pc drum andbreast with fries for 4.99, nothing else. The chicken is cooked fresh to order, so I know that's why it takes so long. But I'mstarting to think the owner is the only one that works there because I've never seen no one else in there. Although the chickenis darn good, I'm only giving 2 stars. Reason for 2 stars is strictly because of the false advertisement of the amount of wingstold to me and on menu board of 4 but actual only 2. That really didn't sit right with me at all; deceiving customers is notgood for business. Advertise it as drums and flats because those are not 4 whole wings. Read more
Waited over an hr for food. I ordered the smothered chicken with mac & cheese and yams. First off the chicken was not smothered... it was fried with a thick layer of crust with an extremely salty distasteful gravy on top. Mac & cheese was cold like it wastoken out the fridge. There was hardly any rice. Then the kool aid tasted like soapy sugar water. Felt sick half way thru thecup and threw it out. Horrible service, no apologies or explanation. Would never play with my body going back to this place. Read more
Friendly staff, professional. Food yams and mac was delicious. I forgot to ask for no gray on my rib tips, I'm not a gravy... person. So that's my fault. Net time I like bbq'd fresh rib tips. I'll try them again. Read more
The food here was so good! Got the 2 meats(Catfish & Rib Tips) and 2 sides(Cabbage & Mac n? Cheese) I was a little surprised by... the cost but once I got the food and saw the amount definitely made it worth it. Will definitely be coming back! Read more
