Although I like the other food I?ve tried, the vegetarian breakfast pie was not great. It was filled with a mass of soft... scrambled eggs, spinach, and shallots with some cheese on top. Pretty sure the menu said it was sautéed, but it was just ahuge, wet, unseasoned blob on a strange, also soft pastry. Mama, what a good first stop on my Houston Restaurant Weeks tour. I knew from the warm greeting by Robert that this was going to... be a great meal. At $39 this meal didn't disappoint at all. The fried green tomato stack was the sleeper hit and probably myfavorite part. In fairness, I was soon too stuffed to finish my dinner or dessert. I would definitely return.
