I love their food! Their red beans and rice were awesome, and the chicken & sausage gumbo is really good too. I met the owner... several years ago and he seems to be pretty down-to-earth. He told me he had another Zydeco's (in Katy, I think) but I'mguessing that location is closed down since I don't see another one there. Read more
Came in here because it's close to my job and I fell in love! I had a bowl of gumbo and it was just like I was in Louisiana.... Super hardy and flavorful not to mention the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. It had such a homey comfortablefeel to it! 10/10 would recommend to a friend. Read more
Their food is just amazing!! And I sort of love the cafeteria style they have over there when it's not too crowded.

This was my first time here. The food was great. The surrounding area is pretty much a food desert so it was nice to find a sit... down restaurant. I had the catfish, rice, red beans, peas, and jalapeno cornbread. Very filling. The place has that nice oldtime diner feel to it which I appreciated. It is a buffet style of ordering and it was head and shoulders above most otherestablishments. I will definitely eat here again as I need to get that bread pudding! Parking was very generous.
