Saw an article on the Livingston daily about a s?mores latte from black iron coffee in Howell that was supposedly super... delicious. When I ordered said latte the barista with the bull nose piercing looked at me like I just conjured a spell andrudely said ?ummm was that advertised anywhere? super rude which I guess is the common experience of other patrons based on thereviews. Had a first date there for just coffee and conversation which was awesome ???? but the food smelled delicious. Coffee was good... just had a black regular house coffee and it was very hot at first so be careful ???? The employees were nice. But littleconfusing because they didn't say wait there or move to the end of the counter or anything we just kinda stood there not surewhat to do and the the employee that put the coffee on the counter further down had our name wrong lol but it worked out. The BEST COFFEE EVER. And I don't say that lightly. Their pour-overs inspired me to get my own Chemex and do pour-overs at... home... but even still mine don't even come close. On top of that, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The staff is helpfuland friendly. The lattes are the perfect balance of coffee flavor and sweetness. Worked our a howell Melonfest and the rain made it cold! Friend escorted me to this establishment to get dry and warm. I was... greeted with a lovely warm staff and my black coffee hit the spot.
