Went there for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. Even though it's a smaller restaurant, it has excellent food. The fish fry... looks very good and has several options from walleye to perch and baked and deep fried. I had the ribs and they were about asperfect as they come. Nice and tender and very meaty. My dinner companion had the brisket sandwich and it was big we both wenthome with another meal. Read more

I'd give 6 stars if I could. The ribs are amazing. There's no better way to put it. I had the ribs, wife had brisket. Both,... amazing. Absolutely did not disappoint! Wait staff was great as well. The only complaint was totally out of their control,when a group of smokers decided that under the tent was a great place to smoke. (It wasn't). But managment handled it quickly.So, happy again. This was our second time to Sloppy Joe's and the service, food, and drinks were just as good as our first visit. We sat outside... both times and Robert took excellent care of us. Very attentive, great at recommending food options, and checked on us often.The smoked meat is amazing and the Sloppy Joe melt a personal favorite. The homemade chips are unlike any I've gottenelsewhere... perfect thickness, crispiness, and seasoning. Sloppy Joe's is now a favorite destination for a good meal andexcellent service. Read more

What an awesome place! We celebrated my Mom's birthday there tonight and from the minute we walked in the door we were made to... feel like we were "regulars". I'm not exaggerating when I say that everyone and I mean everyone was friendly! Our server,Morgan, was the best(please tell her to have a magical????vacation!)and the guy behind the bar(thanks for the phone call!)andthe woman that took our picture were awesome too.
