After seeing a lot of great reviews about The Vintage Cafe, I decided to try it out for breakfast. Unfortunately, my experience... was not good. Service was great, the team was very friendly and you could tell they were hustling. That's really the onlyreason I have two stars because the service was good. But the food was pretty bad. I ordered the eggs Benedict. First, the foodwas cold. Not warm, not room temperature, but legitimately cold. The egg was clearly microwaved (and you could hear themicrowave *ding* in the cafe which is never great to hear at a restaurant). The hollandaise was WAY too greasy, and you couldsee all the grease. I don't know if it was too much butter or they tried cutting with oil. Finally, I don't know if the Englishmuffin was toasted at all. Read more

There isn't enough good word to describe this gem on the east edge of downtown Hudson. The proprietors are friendly, the food is... varied and fantastic. Breakfast 'til noon y'all! Drinks are to the brim and served just the way you like them (because they askyou). But the atmosphere is off the charts! A couch, comfy bucket chairs, wood tables for two and others for a group or largefamily. The artwork on the walls are pleasant but not crowding you.
