The nostalgia at this Denny's is spot on. On this visit I ordered off the value menu and got biscuits and gravy. Food was served... fast. During my meal the server was so friendly, I was offered a slice of apple pie with ice cream. The portion was supergenerous, and I was so grateful to get something for my birthday. It was completely unprompted, but the plating was so yummy Ihad to take a picture. You can see the crisp on the crust through the picture; it was divinely crunchy and gooey with a bit ofmelted ice cream. This act of kindness totally made my day. It was a wonderful experience. After a long day driving, we were so happy to get a great-tasting meal. The coffee and hot... chocolate were free refills and the service from Pamela was spot on. Nicely done! We both had breakfast and my wife had thecinnamon crunch with cream cheese drizzle on her pancakes. She won the most creative meal selection.
