Great place. Played shortstop for the Rainbow Grillers little league team back in the 1950s. Miss the drive-in days when I was... in high school, many good memories. Rainbow has great food and service. Read more
Thus was Pizza Ranch not Rainbow Grill! Here often (at least once a week). No improvements. Tongs instead of spoons in peaches &... olives. Tongs won't pick up the salad pepperoni. Literally open canned peaches into serving container - drain some of the juiceat least. Anyone can open canned green beans & corn & heat them up - add butter, salt, bacon or onion to beans to give them someflavor. Everyone seems to like legs & wings (kids especially) but there's always way too many thighs & breaststroke & neverenough legs & wings. This occurs EVERY time we're there. The rate system with the chips is a great idea but there's more bluechips & only a couple red or white chips. No red chips available to even use so a lousy system & this a stacked deck. Today 1register open for Sunday, noon busy time. We waited over 10 min. for the 2 parties to get rung up & go to get seated; 5 gals upthere & 1 doing all the work ever so slowly. Very inefficient. Rainbow Grill has delicious food. What a great portion size for my garden omelet. The muffin was huge too. The service was... excellent even tho they were busy. The waitress was attentive, making sure the water glasses were filled yet she did not hover!Wish I knew her name! They even had gluten free bread for my friend. Read more
Very good food! We got a voucher from our Airbnb host to come here and I'm really glad we did! Decent amount of options to... choose from and everything we ordered was great. Our waitress was very nice and upbeat as well! It didnt apply to us, but mightbe helpful for people to know that senior citizens get a nice discount here as well. Read more
