THE BAD: Disappointing experience overall. The dining room was totally closed (take-out only) for some reason. If it was closed... because of COVID all I can say is come on guys, let it go. Anyway, I got the steak-style burger. There were ALOT of onions and aburger patty so small I've seen bigger patties on McDonalds burgers! The fries were very under-done. THE GOOD: Trying to put agood spin on things here. The burger itself wasn't bad, just as I said VERY small. The service from the ladies at the counterwas very friendly. Bottom line, based on what I've heard of this place I would definitely give Cookout another chance. Maybe thecooks were having a bad day, who knows? But that next burger needs to be quite a bit bigger, and they need to leave the fries inthe fryer for more than a few seconds!! Read more

The food never disappoints and the service is always good. My wife says it's only for the cheerwine ( I'm a Carolina baby) The... only reason it's not a 5 star review is I can't dine in because it's still take out only. I come to Huntington at least once amonth and there is no other place I want to eat. Hopefully that changes soon it's starting to get cold and I don't want to eatoutside in the fall/winter Read more

The food was excellent, as was the all-around appearance and vibe of the place. It was very clean, with a very polite crew to... boot. This place takes me back to a time that seems just about forgotten. With that genuine taste of an old-school all-Americanburger, some French fries, and a milkshake, I swear I had gone "Back To The Future" or something. Also, their speed and accuracyare uncanny.
