Where do I begin. So I called an order to go for the Amorè on the menu. The girl said they didn?t do that anymore and could... just do it separately? Ok? So I said let?s do it, I give her my appetizer choice and 2 entree choices. So far I?m thinking I?mgetting the stuff listed in the Amorè. Then I get a gelato as well. I show up without my wallet and they couldn?t do Apple Payor Venmo, just one of those nights. So I drive 30 min back home and back to the restaurant to pay for it, I?m already irritatedbecause I forgot but whatever. So then I get my order and the receipt says 70$. I?m thinking okay weird because the Amorè is50$ plus gelato 5$? I dont think a second thought about it I pay and then leave. I get to my car and look in the bag and I?mconfused. There is only 2 entrees, the appetizer, and the gelato. For reference the Amorè online listed 2 salads, bread,appetizer, 2 entrees on the quick to go menu. The entrees are 34$ together (Chicken Biancos), appetizer is 14$ (pepperoniStromboli), salads 10$, bread 5$, and gelato is 5$ separately. So I go back in for a 3rd time and ask did they forget the saladsand bread. She looks confused and says that what?s in the bag is it. I then say I order the Amore separated basically and itcomes with all that. And she said I just ordered what I said on the phone. I say how is all this 70$? And she said I?m sorry butthat?s what it is. This meal max should have been 52$ plus tax. Where did the other 20 go??? And the size of the gelato sayspint online and looked like a Togo sauce container (melted by the time I picked it up). Couldn?t have been more disappointedtonight. Read more
Group of 3, overall rating of 4.5. Vibe, music, atmosphere fantastic. Great place for a date or group of friends. Spaghetti and... meatballs: 7/10 what you expect for authentic with homemade noodles and great bread. Pollo bianco 8.5/10 for the sauce (extracreamy) and noodles, chicken slightly over salted. Bread great! Meatball platter: 7/10 good. Bread and seasoned butteramazing. Dessert: Lemon berry cake 9.5/10 light, perfect marriage of flavors. Chocolate cannoli 7.5/10 very well put together,crunchy, filled on all sides, filling was not overly sweet, good flavor. Torre Dolce: 8.5/10 amazing combination of flavors andtextures. They had us at "Homemade Pasta". Coming from NY and my husband being Italian, this is something we missed moving to the... tri-state area. We had Costindina pizza which had chicken, red peppers, pistachios, and a chili honey drizzle. And we had thespecial which was pasta with grouper, mussels and shrimp. Fyi, theres no complimentary bread served but we were ok with that.The service was friendly. The atmosphere was intimitate yet perfectly spaced. Ambience was welcoming.
