I was born in Saigon, my dad was from Hanoi. I grew up eating pho with my dad in Vietnam, I only ate northern style pho because... of him. As a result, I was never aware of Southern style pho until I moved to California. Every other pho restaurant I had beento in Southern California is southern style. I just prefer the Northern style Pho.\nI tried JP House 99 pho and I loved it. Ithink it is the only pho restaurant in the whole region that offer the true flavor from Hanoi, Vietnam. So goood that I donteven need to add hoisin sauce(and that is how you supposed to eat pho, without hoisin sauce).\nIf you happen to be in the area(or not) come to JP house 99 for an authentic flavor from north Vietnam.
