Ordered a pizza for the first time from Saverios. Customized the toppings. Got a medium pizza w/canadian bacon, tomato,... onion, mushrooms and extra cheese (way too pricey, but willing to give it one try)I was very pleased! tomatoes thin sliced,onions appeared to be sautéed before putting on pizza, whole, thin slices of canadian bacon and generous extra cheese. It wasdelicious! I prefer thin sliced toppings and most places give you chunks. Crust was done perfectly. Delivery was precisely 1hour after ordering as I was told. No complaints here! I have tried all the Huntley pizza places and this was, hands down, thebest rendition of our customized pizza. Looking forward to next week already for our pizza night. Read more
Used to love this place but lost a customer this weekend. Get home from out of town and ordered a pizza and some ravioli. Says... it will be delivered in 60 mins. After 1 hour and 15 mins call the store and a girl says sorry it will go out once my drivergets back as we only have 1 driver tonight. I asked any ETA and she said should be shortly. After 1 hour 45 minutes I callback and am told it went out and when I asked for an ETA she said I have no way of getting a hold of the driver(no cell phone?). Food finally is delivered after 2 hours and driver leaves it and won?t even lift his head up. Expecting after 2 hours to havepiping hot food and we get food that was most likely on a warmer for an hour as pizza and cheese was all coagulated. First time eating here, I?d have to rate this place: Gas station pizza, grade 2. ???????? Unfortunately the dough was... undercooked, there was barely any sauce, and the cheese was average. My pizza grading system is pretty simple, and this place ison par with what you would find in a gas station. I only grade cheese slices/pizza just to be fair, comparable and to establisha baseline. If you are looking for delicious authentic Chicago style pizza, skip this place and go elsewhere. If you don?treally care for taste, or you are in a hurry, eating here is not a bad option. Not completely horrible, maybe I caught them on abad day, maybe their specialty pizzas are better, not sure. The girl up front was nice and the prices are good. Rude Phone Service, On-line web ordering is broken, etc. This is the 2nd time I ordered from them withing 6 months since I was... e-mailed a 25% coupon that I received. Which amongst all the confusion on increased pricing then advertised, a garbage of awebsite. I realized within seconds I forgot to give the Sylvia who took my phone order the coupon #. She was more interestedin getting my Credit Card # if anything. After talking to another individual named Dianne on the 2nd phone call, she said thewould have to start the order again. I just let the coupon thing go and got hung up on. Hindsight now I should have justcancelled the order all together. On good part was the quick delivery of my Cold, average reheated food (as it tasted), thatwas drowning in marinara sauce. I gave them 2 chances, I'm done with doing any further business with them.
