Needed a little bit more seasoning, I guess coming from PR the taste has not adjusted to Alabama.
Amazing find! This place brings me back to my Grandma's kitchen where the Salsa music is on the radio and the kitchen smells of... fried pork, rice and beans. If you're a first timer, get yourself a Cubano, try the beef and chicken empanadas and one of thefresh fruit beverages they have to offer! Read more
This is the best little hidden spot in town. I'm from Indialantic Florida & used to live right next to a restaurant called the... Cuban Island. This is the closest thing to home for me. Dolce Pan Bakery is an absolute gem that's more than just a bakery that's well known to locals. They serve up amazing sandwiches... especially the Cuban (a favorite of mine) along with several daily specials. They also offer great brewed coffee as well. The service in this place is top notch! It also smells amazing lol! My husband and I went there for breakfast. The cafecito con... leche and the colada were *chefs kiss*! My husband got a steak sandwich, which he said was good but it wasn't what we expected.The steak was shredded instead of it being a thin, grilled palomilla steak, but good nonetheless. My scramble was yummy and thetostaditas were perfectly buttery and crunchy.
