Rosie?s Mexican Cantina is the standard for other Mexican restaurants here in Huntsville. If you enjoy authentic Mexican... cuisine, this is the place! With plenty of parking, AND sometimes a lengthy wait, Rosie?s is well worth it. Great service, freechips and salsa (unlimited), and great margaritas is just the start! The menu is huge and feel free to order à la carte! Thefood comes piping hot and your drinks will remain topped off by the staff. If you are in a hurry, the bar area is quick andefficient with a ton of libations to choose from! If you are a couple, I would highly recommend the Fajitas for Two! Extremely friendly service, cool atmosphere but unfortunately the standard tex mex fare of bland over bold. This is likely my... own personal issue as I prefer green or red chile with big flavors over the southern style muted flavors. Read more
I?m from out of town, and my coworkers recommended us go here for lunch. There was a 20 minute wait when we arrived around... 12:20pm, but we were seated in about 10. Our server was okay. He came around a few times, but we had to ask for chips, salsa,and more drinks two times. Once we ordered, or food came out promptly. One issue was one of our meals were cold. So we had tosend it back. We waited, only to be told it would be a lot longer. So my coworker had to order a completely different entree.The manager did comp the meal, but the experience wasn?t the best. Read more

This place is amazing. First night here and I will be coming back more often when I crave Mexican food. Originally I was... hesitant in expectations due to the size of the restaurant. Typically I find the larger the restaurant and chain, the lesslikely the taste will be as "Authentic". I was pleased by the aesthetics and atmosphere of the restaurant itself. It was full,but our server Zeke, was very attentive and gave us great service. We ordered the Tacos al Carbon and the Steak Fajitas. Bothdishes came with bean soup, and an AMAZING "gravy/buttered" dip. With other typical sides. Everything tastes amazing for Tex Mexstyle. I'm from California and the Mexican food is very different.
