I have dined here many times. When I am in Huntsville this has been my go to for over a decade. The steaks are always amazing... but don’t overlook the stuffed chicken . It’s hard to imagine but it may be the best thing on the menu. Tonight I had thefilet and shrimp with creamed spinach and it was tremendous as always. The steak was sizzling upon arrival to my table by expertserver Phillip. He is a true professional and took great care of me tonight. The downtown location is perfect though I do missthe old days when it was inside the Embassy which is where I usually stay. Thanks everyone here for another great meal. Read more
Let me preface this, it was mother's day on my visit. So, understandable, they had a busy day. I see the potential but it wasn't... there for me. The bathrooms were a disaster, many of the menu items were unavailable. Me and my girlfriend settled on anappetizer because they didn't have the one we wanted and we received it missing a component, the main reason we settled on it.On the bright side, the steaks we ordered were quite good and the waiter we had was a true professional. The hostess worked with us since we were running late from a doctors appointment, so off the bat we were very appreciative of... that. The service by Don was great and he gave helpful recommendations with our meals! We both started with a chopped salad-favorite salad and starter, flavor was plentiful! Next I had the filet with a garlic parm crust (10/10 recommend) and husbandhad the strip- both cooked medium and to perfection. Our al carte sides were creamed spinach and au gratin potatoes- creamy richsides that paired great with our steaks! For dessert- chocolate mousse cheesecake- light, but rich chocolatey goodness! My wife and I had date night here for the first time and OMG the food was absolutely amazing. I had the stuffed chicken and... lobster mac and cheese. My wife had a T-bone and fries.
