When we signed up with Harvest Hosts a few years ago, we envisioned places we could stop while traveling, but that also would be... friendly, welcome places to visit along the way. Fion Wine Room is EXACTLY this and more. Let me explain: We arrived a half-hourbefore their posted closing time after a LONG drive across state on our way home. The owner greeted us at the door saying, "Youmust be tired after your long trip. Get settled and come on in, no rush. We stay open until you're happy." We ENJOYEDgenerously-poured flights and bought a bottle of everything. The food was warm and wines/bourbons tasted wonderful. Not onlythis, but the owner sat down with us and chatted, making us feel welcome and comfortable with our stay. Very hospitable,friendly and professional.
