Very poor experience. Felt the woman running it was not very friendly. The website misrepresented what we got. We thought it was... going to be a tea party in every sense of the phrase...meaning tea pot and cups, finger foods etc. Instead we got chips, cutfruit and quartered sandwiches. All drinks were served in cups with lids like at a traditional restaurant. We were alsoexpecting for the cute outfits but were not offered them till the time limit was almost up. Miss Tommie is the sweetest and most attentive hostess. The food is delicious and fresh. The dresses were very cute. It was... like, "dress up in mommies closet" style. I had a tea party at this location. The food was expertly prepared! Everything was delicious! The kids had a great time! The... owner was friendly and treated us like family. The terms discussed prior to the party were clear, fair, and reasonable. It was agreat experience! I would highly recommend having your event at Sophia's! Read more

Not a good place for a little girls tea party. The elder woman serving us was rude. The place is too small for all those kids (8... kids) plus the mommies and we were told we were taking up too much space but the party minimum is 6 kids. I peaked through thedoor in the back to ask for a knife and omg that kitchen was NASTY!!!...asked for a knife to cut the cake and was handed adirty one, she didn't apologize at all. Then we needed plates for cake and were advised we needed to bring our own because "cake stains their plates" we ended up eating birthday cake off of napkins with our fingers. That fact was never mentioned to mewhen I booked the party. Then she charged us 13% gratuity for bringing out the food once and refilling drinks once. Love this place! Great chicken salad, potato soup, fresh fruit, potato salad and more! Apricot/Cherry iced tea is so refreshing.... Wonderful selection of desserts that always taste great. Not fancy as far as the decor and atmosphere, but the food isexcellent! Read more
