I visited Katie's a few days ago. Being a local, I don't typically go to main street in the summer, but a friend from the upper... cape insisted we go because she'd heard they have gluten-free ice cream (she has celiac disease). It was super busy, we got intothe line that was down on the sidewalk. The line moved quickly and the staff was kind, we received our order quickly as well. Iordered a scoop of butter pecan ice cream in a waffle cone, it was delicious and I was impressed because they make their wafflecones right there in the store. However, as we were eating, my friend noticed something odd in her scoop of black raspberrygluten-free ice cream. It was a chunk of cookie dough! ???? She got very sick the next day and later that night. The owner ofthe store called her directly and apologized (which is why this is a 3-star instead of 2-star review). I hope they do take theirgluten-free ice cream more seriously going forward, luckily my friend isn't deathly allergic to gluten. Read more
Katie?s seems to be the place to go, and the line is always out of the door! They have a large assortment of flavors, even soft... serve. The ice cream was good. Considering there are so many choices on the cape, Katie?s should be at the top of your list. Whygo to a known chain, when you could come here. Read more

We purchased soft serve ice cream, sherbert, and a frozen fruit drink. Everything was very good! The employees were very polite... and friendly. They have a large selection and everything is very reasonably priced. I would recommend this establishment. Idid have one minor complaint. I ordered a pineapple soft serve and was told it only comes in one size. I only needed a small, Iwasn't very hungry, we had just eaten lunch. I hate wasting food and there was no way I could finish that ice cream and so hadto throw Out what I couldn't finish. I just feel like it's such a waste.I don't understand why You can't get a pineapple softserve in a small size. Read more
