Nice place, food is on the more expensive side but what I had (wrap and fries) were perfect! My husband enjoyed his food as... well, he had shrimp and chicken I believe with a baked sweet potato. It was kinda hot in there when we first arrived. I've wentback already and will go back again! I haven't got to try their pie or cakes yet but it's on the list as they look amazing! Read more
Jake's all I can say is the food and service was great! I ordered the Cobb salad and was impressed with the freshness of the... ingredients and the flavor of the grilled chicken. The chicken was appropriately seasoned, moist, and cooked well. It tastedlike the chicken was marinated first and cooked slow. The presentation confirmed this was the right choice for dinner. We just went there for our 17th anniversary. It's a cute place. We ordered a rib eye med rare and a sirloin medium. Both came... out well done. The waitresses were great and got them redone and back out pretty quick. Good steak and food after that. Read more

Traveling through town on a long weekend getaway and wanting some good food - Jakes was a great choice. This was a fantastic... meal in a really cool atmosphere. DW had catfish and I ordered Cobb salad. Both were excellent. Her tartar sauce was almost adill flavor - really good - and the catfish was cooked perfectly. Crispy outer and soft flaky inside without being chewy. TheCobb salad was supposed to be a lighter choice but it is a real meal! Loved the chicken, perfectly done hard cooked egg, and thelettuce was fresh and crisp. Also appreciated the 10% discount for cash. Read more
