We really enjoyed our visit, food is reasonably priced and everything was served fresh and hot. The character of the building... and decor is very welcoming. The employees were very nice and helpful. The menu has a lot of good choices that will encouragecoming back to try other offerings. Read more

This place is amazing. It's a little out of the way but well worth the drive. From the outside it's a little unassuming but... quite cozy inside. Everything is ordered a la carte and might seem pricey at around $7 per sandwich but well worth it once youeat. I had the beef and cheddar and my wife had the country boy. The beef and cheddar is served on grilled sourdough which wasgreat and had a garlic aioli that really made the sandwich. We also had the mac n cheese balls which were fenominal. Thisain't no Kraft cheese and macaroni here. This is homemade macaroni and cheese that most definitely was made with gouda. At$1.50 each I reccomend 2 for each person. You will want the second one. The owners were on site and happy to talk about therestaurant and menu. Nice people. If you are considering trying this place, just go ahead and do it! Just to be clear, Ihave no affiliation with this restaurant nor was I paid to review it. We spend $35 on food here and felt it was well worth thereview. Read more

I was reallllllly looking forward to this place. I was expecting a darling little restaurant in Kimmswick, MO, and so excited... about the Portobello mushroom-Brie soup they advertise. I just had 85% of my stomach surgically removed a couple of weeks agoand that soup sounded deee-vine! Forget it. Didn't have it. My only soup choices were Chicken Tortilla (my stomach screamsouch!) or some kind of tomato. NO. So, no choices for me. They do have good iced tea! Like a fool, I ordered mac-and-cheese.Can't eat that! It's fine if you're 4 years old, they even serve it with a plastic spoon. It's a nickel's worth of poorly cookedinappropriate Cavatelli pasta with a dime's worth of horribly bland white cheese sauce. About a cup of the earth's cheapest foodfor $4.50! I was insulted! For that price I could feed spectacular M&C to the entire 8th Air Force picnic! My daughter got the"Fat Pig" sandwich, BBQ pulled pork with M&C on toast. She loved it. No chips, nothing. Not even a pickle slice. My son got the"Hot Italian" sammie. Toast with melted Mozz, pepperoni and warm marinara. In a paper basket. He was underwhelmed. The place isreasonably cute, kitschy and has an AC. Kind of an indoor version of their food truck. You order as you enter, like Macdonald's.No table menu for those like me with vision problems. A pain if you aren't familiar with the menu. Definitely a jeans and teeplace. Disappointing for Kimmswick. Did I mention that they have good iced tea? That was my lunch. Read more

I've been twice. The first experience was opening weekend-we ordered 6 sandwiches, a grape dessert(deliciously simple) and the... fried mac and cheese. My favorite is the bruschetta. It was perfect balance of flavors. The resturant is cozy and offers indoorand outdoor seating which why I assume they ask for your number to text when order is ready- for customers sitting outside itwould be difficult to manage orders without. Maybe a runner would add to customer service? Read more

Loved the food we got from the truck a few years ago at the first Rizz Show Eat and Treat so we had to try the brick and mortar.... Equally as amazing. Great staff. Even better food. And it's in such a cute little historic part of town!! We'll definitely spendthe weekend next time! Read more
