I have given Meijo five stars in the past but I will have to take one star away. On several occasions in recent months I had the... misfortune of being denied service because they were closing soon. Mind you that "soon" was as much as 45 minutes beforeclosing. Considering how fast their service is, I would have ordered, been served and finished on time to be out of there beforeclosing. I called in my order for combo plate b and a rainbow sushi roll. It was ready by the time I got there within 10 minutes. I was... greeted by two people immediately when I walked in the door. Fantastic sushi. Quick, friendly service at great prices.
A simple neighborhood place with uncomplicated Japanese style dishes. The prices are very reasonable. My brother and I had... lunch with a beverage for about $10 each (including tax). It is popular, but seldom so crowded you have to wait for a table. It is one of the local restaurants at the top of my list when I want to go out to eat. Read more
