Cons: I could not eat all of my prime rib since 70% was inedible. Every bite I took was filled with fat and I had to spit it... out. Horrific piece of meat. I felt like a lion feasting on a freshly killed zebra. Not classy. Pros: The sunset wasbeautiful. The sides (potatoes/Brussels) were amazing and the service was first-class. My wife and I were in the Imperial Beach area enjoying a nice day out when we decided to find something good to eat. We walked... by SEA 180 and decided to give it a try. We got a table outside and ordered fish and chips for me and smoked salmon toast formy wife, a couple of drinks and finally arroz con leche for dessert. We liked their outdoor patio with an ocean view. The foodwas delicious and more so the fish and chips, nice and crispy as I like it. Quaint restaurant below San Diego! I ordered the priciest thing on the menu, the scallops. They were not dry packed, and for $45... you get 3 sea scallops, with garnishments. I left a bit hungry. They were tasty, but I would have liked to see at least 2 morefor that price. The calamari was not fresh (very chewy). The pickled veggies that came with it were delicious, especially thesquash!! My friend got the smoked salmon pappardelle and said it was good. This brings me to the ambiance. The decor sorelyneeds an update.
