Really friendly service. Great food. Large portions. Decent price point. Lots of different burgers on the menu, but they are... known for their "chicken fried" menu items and homemade meat loaf. We were happy to watch the French Open and a European soccermatch on the two TV's. The spicy battered cauliflower bites were awesome. The chili was also great, but on the spicy side (justfyi). The desserts were really good, too. Homemade pies. So good. We came for lunch, and we're thinking of coming back again fordinner on another night to try a few more items on the menu. The indoor dining area is quite small, but spread out enough so youdon't feel crowded. There is outdoor dining, but it was a little too cold for us to sit outside. I came for a quick bite. My husband and I got the sliders and the crab cakes to share. The crab cakes had a good flavor. I was... surprised, they looked like they were deep fried instead of skillet seared, but still tasty. The sliders were fantastic! Thefries were just so so. It was a beautiful day and they have a great patio surrounded by trees. We received excellent servicefrom our waiter! I would definitely recommend! One of the few places in town to eat. Staff was polite and attentive but being that this is located in the Lake Tahoe area,... everything costs about 30% more that outside Tahoe. Had chili which tasted like it came out of a can- Hormel style. The frieswere interesting-a house specialty- buttermilk fries which were tasty. Read more
