We ordered the Thanksgiving meal kit and didn?t receive the rolls that were included in the kit. We called the store and were on... the phone for 30 minutes on hold and didn?t get connected to a manager until 4 employees later. When we finally spoke to themanager, they didn?t apologize or try to make amends for the inconvenience. We also got our rolls finally but they weren?tremotely close to what the picture in the brochure looked like. Very disappointed and will never order Thanksgiving meal kitagain. Been visiting Cracker Barrel (Independence) for maybe 25 years, the service has always been exceptional 99% of the time. The... food is delicious and the fried turkey dinner was something new and it didn't disappoint. Our server, Laycie did a fantasticjob and kept the glasses refilled. Read more
I enjoyed my food. My dad and his wife had some complaints, but the Manager did a great job of solving issues. Great waitress.
We were there for well over an hour. I was told 15 to 20 minutes to be seated. 30 minutes later finally seated. Took a long time... to get appetizer then food came out. Looked like it had been setting under warm lamp. Good thing was I had a gift card. Don'tthink I'll go back. They don't seem to be as good as they use to be. Great food, full plates, and great staff! Recommended anytime you crave some good, hearty, southern, comfort food! I love their... breakfast, Mac and cheese, and chicken fried chicken. I usually get the grandma's sampler for breakfast or chicken fried chickenwith three sides. Both meals leave me with extra for the next day. Many times it's enough for two whole separate meals. The onlything I am not fond of is ordering them through third parties. They tend to mess up or forget a lot of items. In person is greatthough.
