I have been to the Kooky Coconut twice now and both times it was fantastic. The people working here are so friendly and down to... earth. My wife and I shared the 12" Tampa Cuban and it was very well prepared and delicious. We each had a frozen lemonade aswell which was excellent. We watched it be prepared with fresh lemons. This is a very fun, relaxed and affordable establishment.I will say it is almost borderline a dive - some may say "hole in the wall". Just know going into it the bathrooms are a bitsketchy and the interior is a bit rough around the edges. I stumbled upon this place driving by. I saw the tacos sign and had to stop. The tacos are standard American fare. So keep those... expectations. They are well cooked and delicious, regardless. What stood out for me tho was the hospitality. I was ? thatcustomer?. That came in before closing. It was on my part. Completely unintentional. They however were very kind. And did notrush me. Nice Island local ice cream and sandwiches bar Nice atmosphere, nice people. Good place to hangout and enjoy. Tables & chairs... available. Very close to the beach. My favorite is the Island Cuban sandwich. And the affogato dessert. Read more

Rocks beach this is the perfect place to stop for a scoop of ice cream before heading to the beach to watch the sunset. Alltheir ice creams are locally sourced form Sarasota and delicious! They also carry food items such as walking tacos, Cubansandwiches, hot dogs, tacos and a few other items. There hot and iced coffee, and aguas frescos as well as your usual array ofsodas.
