It's not a waffle it's a biscuit that's been pressed and cut in half in the shape of a waffle. Tried the cheesecake stuffed... waffle and it was the worst cheesecake I've ever had in my life. It was very wet and loose and extremely sweet. The spicy maplesyrup that I was excited about is literally just pancake syrup that has hot sauce added in it and the lady who handed me my foodasked me my name and then just shoved it at me and I left she didn't say bye or nothing when I said bye to her she turned aroundand looked at me like I was crazy. I finally went for the first time. Ive heard so much about it so I was excited to check them out. I went through the drive and... the line was around the building! (I figured that was a good sign ????) It took a bit longer than expected for typical fast foodbut I chose to give them a pass because I could see them through the window making biscuits from scratch (a plus). I ordered achicken biscuit (maybe it was spicy honey ???? - the hubs and I shared so I forget) and it was... good. I think I was expectingmore. I like Hardee's biscuits and it reminded me of there's. Absolutely terrible. They quality of the food is terrible.. English muffins are untoasted, the eggs are paper thin, the grits... are flavorless, they screwed up my order and forgot my hashbrowns. Add to that a $30.00 price tag and this is a hard pass goingforward. You get MUCH better quality at McDonald?s (I can?t believe I just typed that). Read more
This location is going down hill on quality if you want people to support your business then when customers come give them good... food. I can guarantee 2 visits like mine will cost you customers. Grits not fully cooked but salty and sooo much butter eeewww.Not good food and that's what I came for. Drive 40 min round trip in the cold to come back home and eat cereal. So, we are leaving Carowinds and everybody wanted to stop at Biscuitville. It was around 11:30 in the morning, Sunday, December... 4th. Place was hopping! We walked in and it didn't take long at all before we were able to place our order despite it beingreally busy. We ordered and were given a ticket. We hadn't so much as gotten seated and our name was called. I started tomake my way up front and was met by an employee carrying both trays of food. I confirmed the name on the ticket and theemployee acknowledged it to be correct. He carried both trays to the table and told us to enjoy. Not only was EVERYTHINGcorrect but what was supposed to be hot was HOT and items that were supposed to be cold were indeed. The order was 100% correctand EVERYTHING was exactly as it had been ordered. The coffee at the drink service area was fresh. The condiments were allstocked to include utensils and napkins. I went to the counter and express my thanks to the employee who took our order andrelayed to them our thanks. The restaurant was clean and in orderly fashion. Tables were actively being cleaned and sanitizedand there was not a single waste receptacle that either hadn't been tended to or was being tended to. The employees behind thecounter we ALL very courteous and all were wearing appropriate attire to include hair netting along with facial hair netting. The restrooms were all well stocked, floors cleaned, waste receptacles attended to and the water from the sink was hot inaccordance with DHEC standards for employees to wash with prior to returning to work.
