Extremely outdated and very very old decor but the service and food is out of this world. The owner is probably one of the... nicest gentlemen you could ever meet. He makes sure to make an appearance at every single person's dinner table to say hellobefore the end of their meals. With a little help and money the Iron Skillet could be a booming, thriving, and extremely popularfamily style restaurant. They just need a little help to do more advertising and promotions to get this younger generation intheir doors and then it could literally be a 5 star restaurant EASILY!! Great food and service. Some of the menu items have changed a bit due to availability, but overall a great experience.
We have been coming here for about 15 years. Always loved the food and service. We hadn't been there for awhile but wow, what... a change. They have changed the salad dressing... so bitter-- and the gravy was terrible. The lady waitress that has beenthere for several years had the dirtiest apron dress on!! Green beans, corn and chicken were still great. So disappointed tosee it go downhill. Read more
