I've heard great things about this place, especially for being vegan! So, I ordered a medium with dairy free cheese. I also... asked if they had vegan pepperoni and I was told yes they do. So, I added that to my pizza as well. I get there and wait for mypizza. They set it out for me and I stare at it because the pepperoni looks odd. I bring it out to the car and stare at it againbecause vegan pepperoni doesn't look the way this does. So, I get my receipt and look at it trying to see if there is anotherway to tell if it's vegan or not. I can't tell! So, I go back in to double verify if it's vegan meat or not. The guy looksconfused and then asks the girl who made it if it's plant based pepperoni. She verified that it was! So, I take it home bake itand eat an entire slice. The slice I had didn't have a lot of it on there so I didn't think too much of it. Till I take a biteof the second one and spit it out. My fianceé comes over and looks it over in shock saying I've been eating PORK!? HOW IN THEWORLD COULD YOU MIX THE TWO UP IN A RESTAURANT SETTING LIKE THIS? I immediately call them and she tells me they don't even haveany vegan meat substitute?! She thought I was asking about the cheese?! It seems like communication isn't key in this pizzaestablishment? I triple checked to make sure everything was vegan just to be let down by a lack of awareness on the workerspart! All they did was give me a new pizza even though I'm devastated. I haven't had pork in over 8 years due to culturalreasons and I haven't had anything animal based in 5 years! I'm beyond disappointed and angry that my diet and cultural meantalmost nothing to them. Our Garlic Pizza was very good. The staff was also pleasant. I will go back again.
I have Never been to a Papa Murphy?s so I when I walked in I didn?t know they didn?t bake the pizza. The customer service... person failed to inform me of that as well when I ordered. Imagine my surprise when I went to pick it up and it?s an uncookedpizza after having already payed for it!!! You should not assume every customer knows you only sell uncooked pizza! Youshould tell people that when they order and not assume they already know. If I wanted to bake it my self I could have savedtime and money and gotten a frozen pizza at Walmart after all you use thawed out crust and sprinkle on ingredients same asWalmart only theirs only cost 6.99 instead of 20! My biggest complaint is your failure to inform walk in customers that theyare buying a raw pizza!!! Read more
