I have come here for years, and the last few times have been very bad. Two weeks ago I spent over an hour trying to call to... place a pick up order, the phone was seemingly disconnected. I finally just drove to the restaurant. They told me sometimes theyjust take the phone off the hook when they get tired of hearing it... WILD! I placed my order for my cobb salad with ranchdressing. I was told 7 minutes. It took 25. I get back to work, my salad has no egg and I was given bleu cheese dressing which Iam allergic to. I sent an email when I had been calling asking if they had closed, to which I got a response to, and then Iresponded explaining what had happened with my order/experience, they chose not to reply :) Love to see it! I'm sorry to say my latest visit was disappointing. I have dined there 5 or 6 times in the past and always found it excellent. ... I ordered the veggie omelette, which I have had several times before. This time, the portion was very small -- seemed like halfthe normal size. And the bill (just the omelette and coffee) was around $22. I understand that every restaurant is trying tocope with inflation and staff shortages. But this doesn't work for me. I would have been OK paying $22 for what used to be $16a few months ago. But you can't slash the portion at the same time and expect people to be happy about that. I hope they turnthis around because I'd like to have the old Le Peep back. As it is, I'm not likely to visit. For someone who has been coming to this Le Peeps for 15 years, I won?t come back again. I ordered battered French toast, it used... to be on the menu but they took it off. Our waitress didn?t know what it was. So, she asked the kitchen and I asked a waitressthat has been there for years and they said they could do it still, just order it with granola. I did exactly that. It came outas regular French toast. I asked her about it. She said, ?it?s not right?? They took it back and by the time they brought itback to me, my friend had finished their meal. The sausage tasted terrible, was cold, and raw in the middle. They charged me foreverything and I ended up eating half my toast because it was cold, smashed, & rubbery, none of my sausage and I didn?t enjoymy meal with my friend. They had plenty of staff but none of the tables got cleaned up as people left, [6tables] people comingin for carry out were quite annoyed with the wait, and other patrons waited a long time to get waited on.
