Great atmosphere. I feel like much of the waiting staff are younger, and you can see the flirting between them if you pay... attention. I thought it was fun to watch, my lady thought so too. They never failed to serve though, and that's the importantpart! Food was excellent. Our steak was cooked perfectly, and was very tender. I prefer a little more char, and for it to be alittle more salty, but that's minor complaints. I suggest getting the bread basket, it comes from a local bakery and theyserved it with butter, and a heavenly brown sugar butter. It is amazing! Read more
Great steakhouse with all the features and phenomenal service! We were a party of 5 and we ordered lots of food! We ordered... appetizers, different cuts of steak, and different sides. My most favorite items were the calamari and truffle fries! They werethe best that I have ever had! The only reason for 4-star review is that everything was quite salty and I couldn’t stopdrinking water all night. But I will certainly go back! Read more
FRENCH ONION SOUP. Oh my. Husband and I love some FOS but Prime 47's is the best we've ever had. A steak house and my first rave... is the soup! It's that good! The hub had the dry aged bone-in ribeye and I had the filet. Delicious and prepared exactly asrequested. The sides are big enough to share (so glad our waitress told us before ordering way too much food) and so we sharedthe jalapeño au gratin potatoes, which were excellent. We tried the mushrooms but we just weren't fans of the seasoning used,but that's just our preference. Don't let our tastes deter you from trying them! We also had the bread pudding, which wasincredible. It's a must try. We liked that although this is an expensive steakhouse, the dress code allowed a ushers from suitsand jackets to t-shirt and jeans, making it a relaxing atmosphere. Wait staff were great, too! Definitely a true steakhouse with excellent food and drinks. Only forewarning is it's quite a bit pricey but this venue would be... about the only place to be able to charge what they do. Very personable staff and never waited more than a few minutes betweenmeals and them checking how things were. Would definitely go back, but due to the prices, would need to be a special occasion. My lovely wife and I decided to take a birthday trip for each of us down to Indy. We were going to be attending a Pacers/Pistons... game and wanted something near by. We did some research and came across Prime 47. We did ample amount of searching beforesettling on this decision. After settling on it and reserving a table for us, we were super excited for it to be the day to eatthere. My wife ordered the aged dried bone-in ribeye. It was such a larger succulent piece of pure grass fed meat. It was tenderand mouth watering to the bite. Myself I went with “The World Tour”. The elegance and diplomacy of the dish took me back toworld war 2. Taste buds were exploding with every bite! The Australian wagyu beef was very tender and cooked to perfection! Itwould make crocodile Dundee blush by how great it was! The Japanese cut was perfect in its self! I felt like I was cutting mysteak with a samurai sword wielded by the great ancestors of Tokyo!
