We checked online before going to the restaurant to see if there were tables available. Which turned out there were options for... reservations at anytime. We were coming on a Thursday evening at 4:15 pm so we figured why bother making a reservation. When wearrived the restaurant was empty, as expected considering the time. The host asked if we had reservations which we didn't. Hethen proceeded to tell us that there were no tables available because they had reserved tables and we could sit at the bar area. That seemed skeptical but we went along. Once seated at the bar area we checked online again and there were still tablesavailable all evening. We could have booked online and gone immediately to the host and tell him we now have a reservation. Butwe were already seated and didn't want to bother moving. During the approximately hour that we were there, only one table hadbeen taken in the restaurant area. I would have given a one star for service but our server at the table did a good job. We'vebeen here several times in the past and the services had been pretty good, until now. Not sure why the host didn't want ussitting in the restaurant area but the atmosphere and experience is just not quite the same at the bar. We were a bitdisappointed with the overall experience, not what we came to this restaurant for. Read more

I came here for a wedding. Beautiful facility and the staff did an absolutely fantastic job. The food was tremendous as well.... The stuffed mushrooms were out of this world, the German potato salad was amazing, and the Wurst was fantastic; really, everything was great. Read more

I consider myself a connoisseur of all things German and this is bar none the best place for German food and culture it's ever... been my pleasure to visit ... it's cultural center so it's a bigger building than you would expect. The food itself isoutstanding and authentic and the beer is pure Deutsch. I've spent enough time in Germany and I felt right around home there Read more

Amazing german restaurant!!! Mushroom allergy people: many many dishes here have mushrooms. The schnitzel is amazing. Potato... pancakes are wonderful and flavorful. I had the best Riesling I’ve ever had here. The service is good and it’s in abasement. All the best restaurants are in basements lol. We didn’t have to wait bc we had a reservation at six. Read more
