I went here with my cousin for my first ever tenderloin and this family-owned-and-run business really hit the spot. The rosie... applesauce was incredibly cinnamony, the tenderloin was huge and crunchy and flavorful and it came with mashed potatoes andgravy and green beans and then there was pie. Homemade pie made by the grandmother of our waitress and there were five or sixkinds. I had coconut cream pie with meringue and I walked away feeling fat and happy. Read more

We had a flat tire coming back from vacation which caused us to be in Indianola. Crouse Cafe was recommended to us as a good... place for breakfast, so we went there while we had a new tire mounted. And that recommendation was SPOT ON! I can honestly saythat the omelette that I was served there was the best that I ever had in my (long) life, and everything else with the meal wasoutstanding as well. All of the people working there were extremely polite, friendly, and proficient. And the prices for suchgreat food and service were i-unbelievably low.
