Nice local option. Service was good, food was tasty and served hot. Lunch special was smothered chicken served over wild rice,... came with a nice piece of buttered and toasted bread. Also included soup or salad to start. I had the salad and my lunch guesthad the soap. Soup was cream of asparagus. Look forward to visiting again. There are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Had a terrible lunch, ordered the special Salisbury steak, corn, sour dough bread and a salad x2 and two waters to drink. We... got salad and Salisbury steak with fries and no bread. While it took almost 30 minutes to get our food my wife?s was raw andbleeding in the plate. They took hers back and said they would not charge us, however they did not offer to cook another steakor if she wanted something else. Other tables of people seemed to be waiting for food a long time. Another table got breadat the end of the meal, the waitress told them that the cook never told her the bread was ready. seemed a little smokey inside like the cook had burned something up in the kitchen. I don?t believe that the cook has enough help in the kitchen. Itried to reach out to the owner via social media but had no luck. Paid 14.99 for one meal, I will say the steak I had wastasty and the fries were crispy like I like them, but you should be told of substitutions and if there is no more bread to beserved with the daily special. The owner must have been busy this day catering Valero as I saw posted on the restaurant wall. Been here about 6 times and it seems hit or miss. I guess this visit was a miss. Read more
